I love your music - so does my dog, Fredis Maximus. My favorite song is 18th St. Cha Cha. Fred likes it because he is a chihuahua. I like the cute drummer. Does he have a girlfriend?

Saw you guys at The Inner Harbor last Saturday. Terrific show! When are you playing in Baltimore again?

Great show in Baltimore at the Inner Harbor last Saturday. I liked all the songs you played. You guys should bring the dancers on the road with you!

I saw you at the Borders Books at Bailey's Crossroads. I'm going to try to catch your show at the Borders in Pentagon City. It really is a cool way to spend a Friday evening. See ya there.

After carefully looking at the high definition water skiing photos, I have determined that Rob's head first form is not the proper water skiing technique. That video camera is one great sports training tool.

You've got an awesome web page. I can't believe those water skiing pictures are taken off a video camera. I see that everyone took a header except Chip! I like the sound clips too!

Hi guys, I saw you at Centennial Park and you guys sound great. It's rare to see a band that combines latin rhythyms and jazz like you guys do. It's reminiscent of bands from the 70's like Azteca, Malo, and Santana. Keep it up! Ray

Recently I purchased your CD after having heard it in Caruso Music constantly (I work there when they call me, so I have plenty of exposure to the CD). It was always great, but when I sat down and really listened to it in a relaxed atmosphere, I was blown away! Ritmojunction is right up there with Michel Camilo in my book. In regards to your web page, I am very impressed by everything. Your sound clips really do sound like the CD, not like other sites, which sound like a cheap keyboard. The site was very well thought out overall, and I am looking forward to seeing some MPEG video clips on the page soon. I would love to see you live in concert somewhere, but I don't know that I can accomodate you into my travel plans when I'm in the DC area. Are you ever going to be up New England way playing? If so, look for me in the audience. Thanks for your time, keep up the great playing. Rest assured that I will tell all of my friends about you guys and let them listen to the CD. Maybe I can build you guys some kind of a fanbase up north.

Great to see you guys on the Web. You need to play on the WEST COAST so I can see you! Besides, the beer is better here. So what IS Rob's dog named? As for which member I like best, this might start a nasty fight, so I'll reserve judgment. Glad to know you're doing so well! Love, Laura

I throughly enjoyed your concert at Centennial Lake in Columbia in August! I purchased one of your CD"s and have been unable to listen to it because it had a crack in it when I opened the package. Hope you can help me out. I'd love to hear it and see you again Thanks, Kathy

Greetings from Tokyo! I just got your CD last week, and I think Ritmo Junction rocks. The musicianship on the album is really incredible, and I think what I like most about it is how much the mixing of styles reminds me of being in the US. So what's the scoop? You guys going to put out another album? Fans are eagerly awaiting it on both sides of the Pacific. Oh, incidentally -- terrific website too. Am I a computer dork for noticing?

Great album! If you think great jazz is hard to come by, leave D.C. and move to Lansing, Michigan. Then you'll really be happy that Ritmo cut an album.

When are you coming to NYC? That's where all the really good bands play, y'know. My favorite tunes are Bolero under the rain, G'Town Groove/18th Street Cha Cha. Truth be told -- I miss hearing you guys on a regular basis. We need you up here! :) Sincerely, Your biggest fan

A belated kudos and congrats on your CD. An absolutely wonderful piece of work in my opinion. Although I have been a Ritmo fan for my share of time, the last show I saw was the Birchmere in August...your new stuff is great. Just as strong and lively as the not-so-new stuff. I have not seen many adverts re: upcoming gigs and I attribute that to the fact that the jazz circuit and music scene in DC basically sucks. You guys need to fill an arena, so I hope you get signed ASAP. Any record company would be blessed to have you--no question! I hope you guys play out more frequently so that I can hear Tumbao Tumble and see that cute keyboard player of yours more often! When are you putting out a 2nd CD? I can't wait....

Message for Chris Webster - Hey, dude, what's up? It's been 10 years or maybe more but I remember you. Suzan Charlton told me about the band and the site. Cool Music! Got my own little thang happening up here in New Yawk. It's a hard rock band called STATIC 13. Check us out at: http://www.static13.com - but you probably won't recognize me... we should trade links. Anyway, good luck with things. I'll be in DC in August - maybe we can hang out? Later, -Chris Boylan *STATIC 13*

Hey Guy's, I've heard and enjoyed your music over the years, usually in passing while doing a gig in close proxemity...heard you a couple of years ago down in "Orange, VA"...yes, even there!(smile) I've had the pleasure of knowing Steve(Bloom) through Kevin Campbell, and enjoyed his playing very much. So I just wanted to wish you guy's continued success - and hoping you're giving the glory to the ONE who provides for you! Oh....I saw my partner, Dave Marsh on one of the Gallery Shot's; I know that was a blast for you! I'm still kick'n 'round town on occassion, and even looking to start my own band...got some things I want to say, and I know you know what I mean!(smile) My contemporary jazz/gospel group, "Sacred Groove" has just finished the first CD Project, and gotton some pretty good responces so far...it's kinda' in the ball park of the Yellow Jacket's and Joe Sample, stylistically speaking. Hope you get a chance to check it out. Larry Seals & Charles Wright blessed us with their talents, as well as did AL Williams. The group features Tony Waters(key's); Alan "Ace" Cooper(bass), and of course me (Charles Marvray)on drums. Good luck guy's....looking forward to hearing you soon! Charles J. Marvray, 11

My daughter, who lives in New Orleans, is getting married there next November. She and her fiance are into the music scene there. But a potential job change might also change the wedding venue to the Washington, DC, area. They definitely do not want a wedding band - but want a band with a latin feel and a New Orleans pulse. No matter where the wedding is held, they want a second-line. Do you ever perform at weddings? If so, please let me know. I like your music and think they will, too.

You guys are great. I saw you guys a few years back at the Latin Jazz Alley after coming out of Latin Legends Salsa music concert in DC. I couldn't believe your sound and fresh latin jazz music. I listen to your records and play my congas along with your music. I've even sent a CD to my brother in Puerto Rico and his friends can't believe that you guys haven't been playing around in Puerto Rico. Keep your music up.

Chris Webster's nephew, Cameron Webster of Merrimack, NH, is enrolled in my toddler music classes. Two cuts from Ritmojunction will be featured in this week's classes of over 200 children. G'town Groove will be the music used for creative dance and movement. Tumbao Tumble will be the background beat for rhythmic play using drums, spoons, maracas, triangles, castanets, tone-blocks....etc. Grow in Tune music school is proud to be part of Cameron's music education!
